The Davis Center for Portfolio Management is a student-managed organization designed to provide quality market and equity research needed to effectively manage the student-run undergraduate portfolio. By integrating academic theory with experiential learning, we strive to create an environment that fosters both personal and professional development, provide opportunities to establish a comprehensive knowledge of the overall financial industry, and ultimately produce well-rounded individuals equipped with the tools to be successful in today’s competitive society.
The Davis Center for Portfolio Management strives to foster the professional growth and development of the world’s youngest financial minds at the University of Dayton. The Davis Center facilitates the knowledge of portfolio management through top-down and bottom-up research while utilizing top of the line financial software such as Bloomberg, and Morningstar Direct to manage the Flyer Fund, a long-only equity portfolio valued at roughly $15.2 million.
